WHAT IS PROPANE?
Propane is a colorless, easily liquefied, gaseous hydrocarbon (compound of carbon and hydrogen), the third member of the paraffin series following methane and ethane. available as liquefied propane or as a major constituent of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Propane as a liquid is stored at -44 Fahrenheit and contact with skin can cause frostbite and freeze burns. As a vapor it expands 270 times and is flammable. Always wear safety goggles and safety gloves when handling propane cylinders.
